Slave Cemetery is an original colored pencil by Colored Pencil Society of America Signature artist Linda Morton.  I discovered this cemetery just north of University Drive in Huntsville.  I was moved by reading the short history on the markers.  This is just one of many cemeterys, some known and more unknown where the people who were brought to this country in the chains of slavery finally found true freedom.  This is a place that reminds us of our ability to not care for our fellow man.  This is a sad memorial to history, but must stay so we do not forget and repeat the lessons taught in history.  This colored pencil is approximately 11x14 and is matted and framed with a finished size of approximately 16 1/2 x20 1/2.

This original includes a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.

Postage and handling within the continental United States is included.
Open  edition prints of  "Slave Cemetery" are available on fine art paper.
